Paint and water galore last Friday, as Primary 5 enjoyed a busy and engaging day of practical learning. In Maths, the class explored capacity by estimating the volume of a range of containers before carefully measuring the exact amounts. This hands-on approach helped develop both their understanding and accuracy.
The pupils also began an exciting art project linked to our new World Around Us topic, Space. The children have been inspired by artist Peter Thorpe, to create their own space designs. We look forward to sharing their finished creations over the coming weeks.
It was a fantastic day filled with teamwork, creativity and active learning.
