Yesterday, the Primary 5 children had their final session of the year with Fighting Words NI. During the session, they worked collaboratively to write the final chapter of a story that has been created in partnership with schools in Dublin and Cyprus. The children produced a range of wonderful and imaginative ideas, and the facilitators were extremely impressed with their creativity and teamwork. Our very own Mr Massey even featured in our story!
Fighting Words will return next year when the children are in Primary 6, bringing with them a printed copy of the published story—an exciting moment to look forward to.
The children have thoroughly enjoyed taking part in this fantastic programme, and it has been a pleasure to see their confidence in writing grow throughout the year.
