Our World
17th Feb 2026
We used balloons, newspaper strips, paste, and lots of patience. Once they dried, we then added green and tried to replicate the shape of each continent. Everyone did an incredible job—we now have a whole class set of beautiful globes!
Here’s what we learned while making them:
- The continents aren’t all the same size
- Oceans cover most of the Earth
- Some continents are close together; others are far apart
- Making a puffy balloon smooth with paper is harder than it looks! ?
