Today our P5 children took part in another exciting session of the Fighting Words NI programme.
The focus was poetry, and the pupils explored a range of poetic techniques including onomatopoeia, sibilance, similes and alliteration. Together, they created a wonderful group poem all about magic, before going on to write their own imaginative pieces.
It was a fantastic session—full of creativity, curiosity and rich discussion. We are so proud of the enthusiasm and talent shown by all our young writers!
