Voices from the Titanic: Primary Five Become Journalists and Eye Witnesses

As part of our continued learning about the Titanic, Primary 5 pupils took part in an exciting and immersive journalism activity. The children imagined what life may have been like for survivors of the disaster, writing thoughtful questions to ask eyewitnesses who had seen the ship sink while escaping to safety. They then brought these interviews to life by performing them in front of an audience. This meaningful experience helped pupils develop empathy and emotional understanding, while also strengthening their questioning skills, confidence, and dramatic performance abilities.
