As part of science week, P4 took part in the ‘magic milk’ experiment and discussed how milk is made up of minerals, proteins, and fats. When washing up liquid is added to the milk, the soap molecules run around and try to attach to the fat molecules in the milk. The food colouring allows us to actually see this happen and also creates beautiful shapes and swirls in the process.
