As part of our World Around Us topic, Anna from Water NI visited P5 today to talk about the importance of water. We learned about the water cycle, how water is cleaned and pumped to our homes and how to use water wisely. Each child was given a 4 minute shower timer, to help save water, and they all took the 4 minute shower challenge pledge. They also got given a water bottle to encourage reusing bottles, rather than buying new ones. A super, informative morning.
